Drake termine l’année en beauté puisqu’il a dévoilé cette nuit son nouveau morceau “War” ainsi qu’un clip très hivernal pour l’accompagner. “War” est un extrait de la mixtape El-Kuumba Tape Vol. 1. co-réalisée par Oliver El-Khatib (co-fondateur d’OVO) et Kuumba International.
Sur une production drill, composée par AXL Beats, Drake évoque notamment sa relation avec The Weeknd et confirme qu’ils sont en bon terme malgré des problèmes qu’ils ont eu par le passé : “OVOXO link up, man don’t drink up, me in the trailers / Hawk and Stix and Cash and Baka, Gucci, P, and Gilla / And the boy that sound like he sang on Thriller / You know that’s been my n***a, yeah / We just had to fix things, family, 6 tings, we can’t split up” Une bonne chose de faite.
